(I have left this page here simply because it's been here for 6 years......and
also to show the process and order of block completion and a blog of what I was
doing at the time - not that blogs had been invented when I started up this
project....LOL)

All square blocks are 4 1/2 inches
finished (well, they are supposed to be...) and made by hand.
This is now hand quilted, all done. Scallops and all the trimmings.
Here's a table with each individual block - you can click on them to see the mistakes better (please remove glasses or squint first!!) and see what I was up to while I made that block.

together): ...then add sashings, cornerstones, solid triangles and final sashing it comes to 5377 ... and make it a total of 5385 pieces with the scallop border. PHEW! Here is a list showing when I made the square blocks. |
