Well!! It's been a long time since I put needle to fabric, and decided yesterday that I should get out my DJ again (after all, I carry it around with me in my handbag *grin*).  This block uses a lovely cream and white tone-on-tone that I bought in Mansfield, I dyed some of it blue to use in this block.  

I also decided this block would be an appropriate way to explain my recent lack of interest in all things sewn.  My hubby's brother's name is Richard, and thanks to us, next February he will become an uncle for the first time.  I have some pictures here, taken a few weeks ago when I was 12 weeks, 5 days along...

...and a little foot (you can count the toes!)!
