QDU Wheel of Friendship

Dimensions: 6" blocks

One block sent a month for 12 months (Feb 2001 - Jan 2002).

  Michelle in Canberra is my Special Friend, and we decided on star blocks, in a colour representing that month.  I am also making her name in 4" blocks.

Bern is my Giving Friend, and you'll have to wait to see the blocks that she has made me.  All I will say is that they are blue and yellow.

April - Easter (We both nibbled on brightly wrapped eggs!)
May - Autumn
June - Queen's Birthday (Royal blues)
July - Cold Winter Mornings
August - "Don't eat yellow snow" (Okay, I ran out of ideas!)
September - both our birthdays are in September, but the events of September 11 overshadowed everything. The reverse coloured letter is for the shining hope inside us all.
October - Halloween
November - Spring Racing Carnival
December - Christmas
January - Stars I decided that patchy stars would look strange, as most of my star fabrics are too large for this.		I finished her name, so this month I included some star fabric to space out her name.  See below for the whole effect :)
