I went through a stint selling cookware via
party plan in late 2007... and what self-respecting quilter could display fabulous wares on a
large piece of plain, off-the-bolt fabric?? Not me!
I had already assembled 6" squares into 9 9-patches when the SCQuilters (online
group - if you don't know, you're probably a lot saner than those who
do know!) were discussing alternate arrangements for 9-patches. So, I
stacked, cut and re-arranged - looks a lot more complex than it originally did,
but not that much effort went into it at all... brilliant!
Free-hand meandering quilting in a maroon thread. The borders have squiggly
triangles quilted in, but you can't really see that.
This is done in the Chef's Toolbox (the name of the company) colours, ie mainly black with a bit of red and some chef-like inspired fabric.
