Starry Nights

This is another quick and dirty quilt. It has all of my 119 different star fabrics. There is one repeat, but I didn't work that out until the top was finished. A great idea to showcase novelty fabrics, as the kids (including the ones with driver's licenses!!) love to crawl all over looking for the repeat *grin*.

This one is for my brother-in-law, who is a bit of an amateur astromoner. Every fabric has stars, there are some moons and constellations too.... I didn't have any planet fabric - he can draw some on later if he wants! The backing is a busy brown fabric so mud and grass stains won't be too easily visible. Nutso quilted with an allover meandering feather design. I had about half a metre of thread left on my 1000 metre spool once I was done with the quitling!
