This quilt was made using a template and instructions my mother got from her quilting group, North of the Yarra Quilters.  They had a quilting bee and made a whole pile of gift quilts for local charities using this pattern.  My quilt uses my mother's first attempts at hand dying fabrics.

It started off life as a grid before it was chopped up - trying to find a way to do this on the floor (no design wall) without the cat moving them was a challenge...

I like it so much I used it in my border over on the left!
