Cameron's Quilt

Dimensions: 48" x 60"

Completed: April 2005

This is a quick and dirty quilt that I rushed to make sure it got done before the baby arrives
(I am typing this well over a month later - but I can assure you, had it not been finished I would have had a preemie!!).
All fabrics are flannels, all used to make him bunny rugs. The same as I did for Ben when he was born - a quilt made of fabrics he was
constantly wrapped in, but won't remember.
(Note: I can't wait for the kids to both be older so I can cut up and use some of those flannel wraps - nice big bits of fabric - yummmm!!)

Son #1 (Ben, for those that want to know this sort of stuff) LOVES it - I have had to fold and store it in the nursery so he doesn't get too attached.
I mean, the poor little boy only has 4 quilts that are exclusively his... *sigh*

Sorry the photo has some sun in it - my design wall in the morning is not the best time to photograph, but it's the only time of day I am up there
in natural light (being very pregnant is not always a good thing!)

The beige animal print is the same as the backing. Very snug and cuddly. The dark blue stars are 3D and sparkle :-)
The close-up also shows what I believe is the only bit of wonky quilting. Typical!!

No label for this one - baby will find a way to mark it as his own, I am sure *grin*.
Here's the monster enjoying his quilt in hospital...
