About Me

Hi...

I am 30-something years old, married (to Andrew...coming up to 10 years now) and I live in Melbourne, Australia. 
We have 2 kids (Ben and Cameron), a cat (Tilde) and an ever fluctuating number of goldfish. 
I'm a Virgo and pretty obsessive about a lot of things - you probably already worked this stuff out though....

I am once again a teacher of IT teaching high school students.  My first love was music, and I graduated from Melbourne University's Conservatorium of Music in 1994. 
Then I went back to Uni (I must be crazy...) for another 4 years and now have a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Education and then a Master of Education. 
Then I decided to keep myself off the streets whilst being a stay at home mum by enrolling in a doctoral program. I must be seriously insane!!!
I am now in the last part of my Doctorate of Education, researching how senior high school students feel about using computers for assessment purposes.

I am mainly a self-taught quilter, but have done classes around the place mainly through guilds.
I'm starting to get to "the next level" and try to absorb information as fast as I can. 

People often ask me if I sleep - the answer is pretty much no...... *grin*. I want to sleep, I love sleep, but it does not come easily to me.
 I go to bed pretty early every night, but it often doesn't help. I am, however, very good at multi-tasking and cannot watch TV without some sewing there too.
