Good evening, I have enjoyed looking through your site and reading the notes entered by others. The ideas are inspiring. Time is the limiting factor for me. I love to make quilts from fabric which I have collected whilst travelling. Each fabric has a memory thet I enjoy revisiting. I am interested in quilted clothing or wearable quilts. Anyone else out there making any coats, vests, skirts?

Hi - I linked from foundation piecing and really enjoyed your site. I liked seeing all your quilts. I usually take pictures of mine and put them into a book. I just haven't got the nack of scanning things. I belong to a guild in California and it is a lot of fun seeing everything people make. I went to the Houston Quilt Festival this year and some of those quilts were works of art. Our guild is making blocks and trading with a quild from Canada this year. It will be my first time doing so. Sounds like fun. They did it with Japan one year and some of the ladies came over for a visit. Thanks for your site. Ann

Hi, Natalie
Stumble across your site yesterday and had to come back today to have another look around. I'm intrigued by your log cabin pillows. What size log cabin blocks did you use? Pictures are deceiving - how big did the pillows end up being. I've sent your url to a few friends so they can have a peek too. One of my friends really likes cats and will love your cat quilt. I'm making two I Spy quilts right now for my two kids. It's nice seeing what other people have done.

I found out about your site from your posting to the DJ Quilt list. Your quilts are wonderful but how in the world did you finish so many beautiful quilts in just two years? You must be a master with that sewing machine of yours. I love your choices of color and the way you use color in your quilts. Seeing your machine quilts inspires me to get my Bernina out and get busy learning how to quilt with it! Most of my quilting during the three years I have been quilting has been by hand. I am just begining my Baby Jane and I will probably do all of it by hand. Your site is a beauty and so user friendly. Good luck with future projects.

I can't belive how many quilts you have made already - they're very beatiful. I really like your choice of colours. And of course your quilting carry-all bag & the little and big block holder. Is it possible to get/buy the patterns?  I'm a quilter too. I finished my first quilt while taking a class 4 years ago. Then really got addicted 2 years ago when I started quilting in between my studies to "relax" my mind. Now I'm working I have to limit my quilting to nights and weekends, but have more money to buy fabrics... Since we live in a rather small apartment the man in my life is afraid there soon won't be space for him any more due to all the quilts, fabrics, sewing machine etc. I'm currently working on a hand-sewed hexagon quilt and a machine-sewed triple Irish Chain for my mother in law. I bought the Dear Jane Book a couple of weeks ago, but haven't decided on which colours to use. Also I'm a bit afraid of the applique blocks since I haven't done any applique yet. Keep up the good work. Lena.

I fell in love with so many of your projects - I really love the block books - how clever making space for notions inside the book!! and the back pack is gorgeous. Where did you find your info on how to make the DJ blocks? I was just talking to Jenni about starting to make the DJ quilt, and wanting to hand sew each block so I could carry it round with me and work on it whenever I had a spare moment, and then I see your 4 blocks all hand appliqued. Do you have the DJ book? I have only begun to get interested in DJ, will have to go to the library for instructions etc.. I admire you immensely, so much accomplished in such a short space of time.

Hello Nat, I am a long distance friend of Glenice and a member of the I.Q. Inspirational Quilters group online. I really enjoyed looking through Moggy Three's baby photos! She is just a peanut! It was so nice of you to put these photos together for her. Especially at this time with her mother's health, remodeling and just plain ole life in general with its many duties. I also took a gander at your fabulous quilts.... AND SOOO MANY!! I am impressed. I have also done some picture play (ISpy) quilts for children and I really enjoy fussy cutting. It drives my quilty friends crazy but, no matter! I really enjoy it. I sent Glenice a lot of kitty fabric and maybe she has told you of me??? Whimper, whine... tell me she did? She is such a wonderful woman that I do not mind being just ONE of her MANY friends that are scattered all round the world. She tucks us each away in pockets of the world. I am just thrilled to be in "her world"; I have a younger quilt tester too. Her name is Miss Daisy Mae. She is a Siamese with a sing-song voice and every quilt is HERS! I actually was going to give a quilt to one of my neices but Daisy loved it so much I just couldn't do it!!! She is spoiled way too much and when I find the person or persons responsible for such spoilage I shall repremand them severly! Ha! Well I could go on and on but I must be off to my Chinese language class this morning. And prepare my cat fabric for my cat quilt I am going to work on at a quilting retreat this next weekend. It is going to be so much fun! May you be blessed this new day Nat! Best to you and yours, SandyTuzinski/Minnesota/AIM:Tweeterlee

Your energy, writing and photos were a lot of fun to view. I am also a quilter but not a traditional quilter. I belong to a somewhat underground quilters group. We are called the North Island Quilters for Community Awareness. Each year we pick a non profit group and 20 ladies each make a square based on a theme that relates back to the benificiary. Example, this years quilt theme is HEALING and it goes to the Women in Alcohol and Drug Recovery program. It is a spectacular example of wit, craftmanship, understanding and compassion. Each 16 inch square is an original work of art, from some of the best quilters and artists on Vancouver Island. We have just completed our 15th quilt. Each quilt is raffled off to make money so these quilts are all over the world. Some years we have made posters of the quilts as another line of fundraising. This year we are making laser copies of each square and making them into quilt cards. I also do wall hangings in my spare time. I enjoyed your site and humor. Maybe one day we will also create a website, as yours is quite inspiring.

NATALIE, YOU HAVE BEEN A VERY BUSY GIRL, I JUST LOVE YOUR IDEAS..... ALSO I CAN'T LEAVE OUT YOUR MUM, I LOVE HER BOLD COLORS, SHE HAS A GREAT EYE FOR COORDINATING THEM TOGETHER. ALSO THE CATS ARE THE BEST, BEING A CAT LOVER MYSELF, MINE IS SITTING ON MY FEET UNDER THE COMPUTER, I JUST LOVE YOUR IDEA OF PUTTING ALL OF THE PICTURES OF THE CATS TOGETHER TO MAKE A QUILT. BEST WISHES, HELENA

Hi Natalie, I love your site, it is so easy to navigate. I Adore the Scrabble Quilt, my DD Dawsie and I are avid Scabble fans,  we may copy your idea, if you don't mind. Will be back to visit on a regular basis.  Hugs Margaret

I am blown away by your productivity, maybe I shouldn't spend so much time reading SCQuilters emails and get onto the sewing machine! Congratulations.

Comments: Nat, I love it. I almost got sidetracked at the husband's site but then refocussed have to go there now. Love the rainbow colours around the buttons, the pastel paws and the kitty-cat background. My favourite completed quilt is the pinwheel one because of the colours but of course I love the Scrabble one too. But I think the one I really like best is the I Spy quilt you're making for your friend's baby. I think I'm going to like the other I Spy quilt too. I wish I had some time and then maybe I could make my own quilt....
