Good evening, I have
enjoyed looking through your site and reading the notes entered by
others. The ideas are inspiring. Time is the limiting factor for me.
I love to make quilts from fabric which I have collected whilst
travelling. Each fabric has a memory thet I enjoy revisiting. I am
interested in quilted clothing or wearable quilts. Anyone else out
there making any coats, vests, skirts? |

Hi - I linked from
foundation piecing and really enjoyed your site. I liked seeing all
your quilts. I usually take pictures of mine and put them into a
book. I just haven't got the nack of scanning things. I belong to a
guild in California and it is a lot of fun seeing everything people
make. I went to the Houston Quilt Festival this year and some of
those quilts were works of art. Our guild is making blocks and
trading with a quild from Canada this year. It will be my first time
doing so. Sounds like fun. They did it with Japan one year and some
of the ladies came over for a visit. Thanks for your site. Ann |

Hi, Natalie
Stumble across your site yesterday and had to come back today to
have another look around. I'm intrigued by your log cabin pillows.
What size log cabin blocks did you use? Pictures are deceiving - how
big did the pillows end up being. I've sent your url to a few
friends so they can have a peek too. One of my friends really likes
cats and will love your cat quilt. I'm making two I Spy quilts right
now for my two kids. It's nice seeing what other people have done. |

I found out about your site
from your posting to the DJ Quilt list. Your quilts are wonderful
but how in the world did you finish so many beautiful quilts in just
two years? You must be a master with that sewing machine of yours. I
love your choices of color and the way you use color in your quilts.
Seeing your machine quilts inspires me to get my Bernina out and get
busy learning how to quilt with it! Most of my quilting during the
three years I have been quilting has been by hand. I am just
begining my Baby Jane and I will probably do all of it by hand. Your
site is a beauty and so user friendly. Good luck with future
projects. |

I can't belive how many
quilts you have made already - they're very beatiful. I really like
your choice of colours. And of course your quilting carry-all bag
& the little and big block holder. Is it possible to get/buy the
patterns? I'm a quilter too. I finished my first quilt while
taking a class 4 years ago. Then really got addicted 2 years ago
when I started quilting in between my studies to "relax"
my mind. Now I'm working I have to limit my quilting to nights and
weekends, but have more money to buy fabrics... Since we live in a
rather small apartment the man in my life is afraid there soon won't
be space for him any more due to all the quilts, fabrics, sewing
machine etc. I'm currently working on a hand-sewed hexagon quilt and
a machine-sewed triple Irish Chain for my mother in law. I bought
the Dear Jane Book a couple of weeks ago, but haven't decided on
which colours to use. Also I'm a bit afraid of the applique blocks
since I haven't done any applique yet. Keep up the good work. Lena. |

Oh my god. You are so amazing! I have been P/Q since
2000 also and have finished 2 quilts!!!! I have quite a few WIPS,
but nothing like you!!! I fell in love with so many of your projects
- I really love the block books - how clever making space for
notions inside the book!! and the back pack is gorgeous. Where did
you find your info on how to make the DJ blocks? I was just talking
to Jenni about starting to make the DJ quilt, and wanting to hand
sew each block so I could carry it round with me and work on it
whenever I had a spare moment, and then I see your 4 blocks all hand
appliqued. Do you have the DJ book? I have only begun to get
interested in DJ, will have to go to the library for instructions
etc.. I admire you immensely, so much accomplished in such a short
space of time. |

Hello Nat, I am a long distance friend of Glenice and
a member of the I.Q. Inspirational Quilters group online. I really
enjoyed looking through Moggy Three's baby photos! She is just a
peanut! It was so nice of you to put these photos together for her.
Especially at this time with her mother's health, remodeling and
just plain ole life in general with its many duties. I also took a
gander at your fabulous quilts.... AND SOOO MANY!! I am impressed. I
have also done some picture play (ISpy) quilts for children and I
really enjoy fussy cutting. It drives my quilty friends crazy but,
no matter! I really enjoy it. I sent Glenice a lot of kitty fabric
and maybe she has told you of me??? Whimper, whine... tell me she
did? She is such a wonderful woman that I do not mind being just ONE
of her MANY friends that are scattered all round the world. She
tucks us each away in pockets of the world. I am just thrilled to be
in "her world"; I have a younger quilt tester too. Her
name is Miss Daisy Mae. She is a Siamese with a sing-song voice and
every quilt is HERS! I actually was going to give a quilt to one of
my neices but Daisy loved it so much I just couldn't do it!!! She is
spoiled way too much and when I find the person or persons
responsible for such spoilage I shall repremand them severly! Ha!
Well I could go on and on but I must be off to my Chinese language
class this morning. And prepare my cat fabric for my cat quilt I am
going to work on at a quilting retreat this next weekend. It is
going to be so much fun! May you be blessed this new day Nat! Best
to you and yours, SandyTuzinski/Minnesota/AIM:Tweeterlee |

I really like the way your site is set out. Did you
know that you came up as only one of two sites mentioned by yahoo
under "quilting, quilts" search for Australia? I am also a
scquilter... haven't been for very long and also am a fairly new
quilter. I am working on my first quilt top. Most other things I've
made in the past have been small, like wall hangings. I liked your
labels, especially the one for your cat quilt. Did you design the
cat on the label too? I'd be curious to know what you used to do
this if you did. Congratulations on a wonderful site! |

Your energy, writing and photos were a lot of fun to
view. I am also a quilter but not a traditional quilter. I belong to
a somewhat underground quilters group. We are called the North
Island Quilters for Community Awareness. Each year we pick a non
profit group and 20 ladies each make a square based on a theme that
relates back to the benificiary. Example, this years quilt theme is
HEALING and it goes to the Women in Alcohol and Drug Recovery
program. It is a spectacular example of wit, craftmanship,
understanding and compassion. Each 16 inch square is an original
work of art, from some of the best quilters and artists on Vancouver
Island. We have just completed our 15th quilt. Each quilt is raffled
off to make money so these quilts are all over the world. Some years
we have made posters of the quilts as another line of fundraising.
This year we are making laser copies of each square and making them
into quilt cards. I also do wall hangings in my spare time. I
enjoyed your site and humor. Maybe one day we will also create a
website, as yours is quite inspiring. |

Hi angel Lacitis [Lacitis is Latvian for "Little
Bear" - my secret angel name! - Natalie] . Thanks for sending
me your site. I have enjoyed looking at all the information that you
and your husband have put there its very interesting. Love the Cat
we also have a cat i will send you my sisters site to have a look at
as she lives here with us. She makes great quilts - very clever. Its
great that you have started quilting so young, my daughter who is
about your age also quilts and has just started teaching. I only
like making small things, wall hanging etc. I have made two single
bed quilts for my granddaughter in colour wash eye spy. I had lots
of fun picking the fabric! What are you working on now? I hope that
you had fun being my Angel as I enjoyed being your mortal. Take
care, Annette |

Natalie, I love all your projects and tell your Mom
she can send me the quilt top she doesn't like-it's beautiful. How
can I get a pattern of your lovely little elephant? I really, really
want one. I found your site through our group online PC Piecers.
Thanks for the fun of looking at your quilts. |

Comments - your site is wonderful!!! I love the
chicken pincushions. How did you make them? Did you make up the
pattern? They would make good Christmas stocking stuffers. Do you
and your mom quilt together. My mom quilted but I never knew it
until after she died - found a sunbonnet sue she had started and
left unfinished. I'll finish it one of these days! That's why I
started quilting. Love all of your things - you are so creative. |

I love your website, I truly enjoyed looking at all
your beautiful quilts. I especially like the idea of a Scrable
Quilt, one of my DH and mine favorite games. You have done a lot in
a short amount of time, I've been makeing tops for about a year,
have lots of blocks but few put together. I am quilting a wall
hanging right now, just purchased my frame last week. Love it.
Thanks for Sharing. Tina |

Natalie. Love your quilts and you have done so much in
a short time. Thanks to you I have just had a look at Quilter's
Cache - this is a great site for free patterns. A quick question -
do Waverley Patchworkers have an exhibition this year, or is it
every 2 years? I went last year and had a great day. Keep up the
great work with your quilts and I'll keep looking. Pam |

Hi Natalie from another Scquilter! My email is banked
up for ages so I only now had a look at your site. Loved your
quilts! Your output rate puts me to shame. I especially loved the
way that clicking on a thumbnail brought up not only a larger image,
but also the story of the quilt plus extra photos. Only had time to
look at the gallery so far - promise to look at all the other pages
soon! Best wishes for your future masterpieces! |

your quilts. I do mine by hand and the last one I have just finished
took me 2 years to complete. |

they are the resident quilt inspectors. Like your quilts a lot, very
colorful, and your website is designed really great! |

What a great site - a real credit to you. I can't
believe how many quilts you have finished in such a short time. Can
I ask you where you managed to find so many cat fabrics. My daughter
has a rag doll cat that also loves helping me with my quilts. She
wants me to make him a quilt and the cat fabrics would be great. |

Nat, I love it. I almost got sidetracked at the
husband's site but then refocussed have to go there now. Love the
rainbow colours around the buttons, the pastel paws and the
kitty-cat background. My favourite completed quilt is the pinwheel
one because of the colours but of course I love the Scrabble one
too. But I think the one I really like best is the I Spy quilt
you're making for your friend's baby. I think I'm going to like the
other I Spy quilt too. I wish I had some time and then maybe I could
make my own quilt.... |
